Under The Oaks Arts Festival
ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE HAND CRAFTED AND ORIGINAL TO THE ARTIST.
No commercially manufactured items and/or objects produced from kits. No commercially licensed products.
The Arts Festival will take place on November 15th from 10:00am to 3:00 pm.
It is free to submit an application, those accepted will then be required to pay the booth fee. Accepted applications are at the discretion of the Columbus Arts Council and The W .
Booth fees are $40 for Early Bird and $50 for Regular, Fees must be paid by NOV 1st by 11:59 PM. (Current W Students - Booth Fee Waived)
Booth fees are nonrefundable (rain or shine, including cancellations).
Each vendor will be assigned a 10’x10’ space for their booth.
VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THEIR OWN TENT, CHAIRS, TABLES and other DISPLAY needs.
TENTS MUST be secured with weights. * NO COLLEGIATE TENTS*
Each booth must ALWAYS be staffed.
Electricity is unable to be provided.
Vendors are required to be fully set up at 10:00am and stay until the end of the event, No break down of booth before 3:00 pm.
**UPLOAD 5 QUALITY IMAGES of the work you will be selling. - TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST UPLOAD PICTURES OF THE OWRK YOU WILL BE SELLING, THESE PICTURE MUST REPRESENT 80% OF THE TYPE OF WORK TO BE SOLD.

Vendor is responsible for all taxes and/or permits in connection with participation and/or sales.
SALES TAX -
The Columbus Arts Council will bring an envelope with Tax paperwork that you will need to complete. The paperwork and Sale Tax payment will be collected at the end of the sales day by the Columbus Arts Council. This Sales Tax payment must be made in cash. (Have a little extra cash on hand if you accept credit cards). Paperwork has to be filled out regardless of sales amount.

Liability Release
*
All potential vendors must read and agree to the following liability release before approval of their Application is granted. By submitting your on-line application, you automatically agree to abide by the conditions of the Liability Release. Vendor agrees to protect, indemnify, defend, save and hold harmless Columbus Arts Council, and their elected officials, directors, employees, representatives and volunteers from any responsibility, injury, property damage, loss, personal liability, or claims of loss, damages or expenses that may occur or relating to the participation/attending the event/programs held by the Columbus Arts Council, or nature arising out of or from any act, accident or occurrence in or at the Vendor’s space(s) and/or booth(s) and/or elsewhere on facility property and/or grounds, or from the sale of goods and/or services by Vendor and/or Vendor’s agents, servants, employees and/or representatives, or from any act or omission of Vendor, Vendor’s agents, servants, employees and/or representatives and/or invitees. Columbus Arts Council is not responsible for any injury sustained by exhibitors, patrons, animals or guests. All personal property, inventory, equipment and/or other items belonging to Vendor and/or Vendor’s agents, servants, employees and/or representatives, shall be there at Vendor’s sole risk, and neither Columbus Arts Council, and their elected officials, directors, employees, representatives and volunteers, shall be liable for any loss, theft and/or damage of any kind sustained by Vendor and/ or Vendor’s agents, servants, employees and/or representatives. Vendor acknowledges and fully understands both the known and potential dangers of utilizing the facilities, services, and programs held by the Columbus Arts Council. As a participating vendor, I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Columbus Arts Council, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents from all liability to the undersigned or its agents for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands on account of any injury to, or an illness or the death of, the undersigned or such participating vendor while the undersigned or such participating vendor are in, upon, or about the premises or any facilities or equipment therein or participating in any program affiliated with the Columbus Arts Council, I further grant full permission for Columbus Arts Council and/or their appointees to use any photographs, recordings, or any other record of this event for any purpose. Vendor agrees to abide by and at all times be subject to terms and conditions herein, including those terms respecting the submission and/or fees together with all rules and regulations set forth by Columbus Arts Council, the receipt of which Vendor expressly acknowledges, and which are expressly incorporated herein by reference. Failure to abide by any term or condition herein and/or any rule or regulation, or any misrepresentation by Vendor of the merchandise described and/or displayed, may subject Vendor to the immediate termination, removal of exhibit (at Vendor’s sole expense) and/or cancellation of any and all present and/or future reservations, together with the loss of any and/all fee(s) and/or deposit(s) paid to Columbus Arts Council. Execution of the within agreement and/or remittance of deposit(s)/ fee(s) does not guarantee Vendor a reservation(s) in any event. Exhibitors shall be selected by Columbus Arts Council and/or its representative(s) in its discretion and/or upon the approval of the space. In addition to the foregoing, Columbus Arts Council expressly reserves the right to cancel Vendor from any confirmed event should it be determined in the sole discretion of Columbus Arts Council which discretion shall not be unreasonably exercised, that the Vendor has engaged in any activity which reflects poorly upon Columbus Arts Council. Vendor alone is responsible for compliance with all local, state and/or federal laws respecting his/her/its exhibition. Vendor expressly acknowledges, no refunds. Weather conditions or other acts of God, causes the closing of any event, no refunds and/or rain dates shall be due the Vendors. Vendor alone is responsible for all taxes and/or permits in connection with participation and/or sales. The Columbus Arts Council will bring an envelope with paperwork that you will need to complete. The paperwork and Sale Tax payment will be collected at the end of the sales day by the Columbus Arts Council. This agreement is entered into and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi. By submitting your online application, you automatically agree to abide by the conditions of the Liability Release.
