Slim, of Grenada, MS, grew up steeped in gospel, later honing his craft in music education before taking his talents around the world. With a vast catalog and a reputation for authenticity and humor, he bridges genres and generations through music, mentorship, and storytelling. Edna Nicole, a Clarksdale native, brings her passion for blues and community to every stage. Raised in a family rooted in activism, she channels resilience and identity through her music, championing both cultural heritage and the voices of women in blues. Together, they perform at festivals, host community shows, and lead classes in theory, songwriting, and production.
